Bakoor is a unique niche line by Nayla Arida who founded nayla.co for interiors.

It all started when Nayla decided to get a nice incense burner set at home for the ritual of purification, so she designed one herself in porcelain.

The word Bakoor in arabic means incense. Incense is used for aesthetic reasons, religious worship, aromatherapy, meditation, and ceremony.

Then one thing lead to another, and Bakoor became a wellbeing label for harmony, beauty and balance lovers, expanding also to a line of other porcelain items, eclectic jewellery and soul flattering clothing.

Our mission is to promote Lebanese artisans, craftsmanship and know-how.

By creating designs and manufacturing them only in Lebanon, then selling them to the world, we contribute in helping in our own way, Lebanese small businesses. By supporting the local talents, we boost the economy of our adored country which is facing huge challenges and obstacles every day.

We make sure every article of our collection is unique. Whether in ceramics, kaftans or jewellery, each piece is different and exclusive since it’s 100% handmade.
